These terms apply to bookings made for events promoted on www.theEMroute.co.uk. Your booking
contract is with Sonic POCUS Ltd ("we", "us"), which delivers events under The EM Route brand.
Bookings and payment
- Your place is confirmed once payment (where applicable) has been received and a confirmation has
been sent to the email address you provide.
- Fees are as published on the relevant event page at the time of booking. Card payments are
processed by Stripe.
- Please ensure the details you provide at booking are accurate; certificates are issued using
these details.
Event changes
- We may make reasonable changes to the programme, speakers or format where necessary.
- If an event is cancelled or rescheduled by us, you will be offered a transfer to the new date or a
full refund of the fee paid — see the Cancellation & Refund Policy.
- For hybrid events, you may request to switch between in-person and online attendance, subject to
availability and payment or refund of any fee difference.
Certificates and CPD
A certificate of attendance is provided for our events. Any CPD information is published on the
relevant event page once confirmed. Educational content is provided in good faith for professional
education and does not replace formal regulatory guidance from the GMC, RCEM or your employer.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Otherwise, our liability in
connection with a booking is limited to the fee paid for that booking. Your statutory rights as a
consumer are unaffected.
