This notice explains how personal information is handled when you use www.theEMroute.co.uk, register for our events, or contact us. Events on this website are delivered by Sonic POCUS Ltd, which acts as the data controller for booking information.

What we collect

Contact details you provide when emailing us or completing a registration form (such as your name, email address, workplace and professional role).
Booking and payment confirmation details. Card payments are processed securely by Stripe; we do not see or store your card details.
Course registration details submitted through Google Forms.

How we use it

To process bookings, send confirmations, joining instructions and certificates.
To respond to enquiries.
To tell you about future EM Route events, only where you have asked to hear from us — you can opt out at any time by emailing us.

Sharing and retention

We do not sell personal data. Information is shared only with the service providers needed to run our events (for example Stripe for payments, Google for registration forms, and email providers), and is kept only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask to access, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, and you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). To exercise any of these rights, email contact@theemroute.co.uk.
